Background

With a mission to revive and continue the pride of Indian Classical Dance form, originated from a Telugu speaking village, Nrithyalayam was started in Toronto, Canada. It was a much awaited dream that came true for Smt. Sudha Vemuri, who hails from Kuchipudi village, started learning Kuchipudi dance form at an early age of 6. Smt. Sudha Vemuri who had performed her Arangetram in Kuchipudi Kalakshetram has established Nrithyalayam.
